The cycle is that of hate. The adults were hateful to the child, now the hate has cycled around to those who want to see the abusers die. Some people are perfectly comfortable committing such atrocities because they know that even if they get caught, the consequences will not be nearly as dire... Turning the other cheek doesn't always work - sometimes you have to push back, or you risk becoming a punching bag... It's a joke! When you give me that look, it's a joke!
