I thought that was the case (and still do somewhat).

But this is a complete myth.

Just look for canned beans, grains (not the fancy ones. Rice, oats etc. are more than enough), tofu which is crazy cheap, veggies (fresh, frozen, canned if you're desperate), pasta (craaaazy cheap in practically any country!).

If you're in the US (think: Trader Joe's or Costco NOT Whole Foods) veganism is even cheaper than where I'm from.

A good rule of thumb: avoid anything with "VEGAN" in all-caps. Basically avoid anything directly marketed towards vegans. Vegan Oreos? Nope, just buy regular oreos, and look through the labels for non-vegan ingredients.

And the list goes on and on.

If anything veganism can be way cheaper if you know where to look (shouldn't be too hard).

What about ppl like me with digestion issues?

leafy greens, legumes and gluten are some of my biggest triggers... it would make my diet even more restrictive than normal healthy vegans

Cheese, milk (if its goat milk), and meat is actually among the things i take best

I've eaten the Beyond frozen products before! I've had their breakfast link sausages, fake chicken strips, and burgers. They're pretty good! I'm a vegetarian mainly for environmental reasons so I'm glad to see Leo promoting and investing in meat alternatives! It's especially important for masculine male celebrities who other men like to promote meat alternatives, because eating less meat unfortunately has an effeminate stigma and meat culture is a big part of bro culture. More manly men eating plants!!

No, he can go with a commercial plane instead.

I mean, yes, absolutely, but with all of the years he has been in the scene it really must be annoying to go to the airport and have everyone on your back causing the usual mayhem, appart from other issues we perhaps don't know. You win some you lose some. I don't doubt that he's aware of what he's doing.

Also, I just had a triple baconator from Wendy's, it was incredible :selena:

Then your diet would be completely justified!

Humans are natural omnivores (I get frustrated from vegans who argue otherwise), but we're also the most adaptable species on the planet.

If you don't need to eat meat and cause unnecessary violence, why do so? In your case, you NEED to eat meat and other animal derived products, your life/way of life depends on it.

But someone munching on a big mac three times a week could probably lay off it tbh :poot: (I'm talking to myself here lmao).

Well no they don’t. But what is Leo selling? A natural burger? No

True, but he's also selling the vegan diet.

Meat-eaters could be more likely to be intrigued by veganism/vegetarinism if there are decent meat alternatives out there. They might not be healthy, but I think they're fantastic transitioning foods!

Yes! This so much! I completely understand being a vegan and the benefits, but to say that EVERYONE should never eat meat because we're "herbivores" are idiots.

Moral of the story: Eat what you need, and be conscious about your impact.

A true sportsman would not bang away at a bunch of caribou. He would pick one out, shoot it, and let the rest go.
