No, he can go with a commercial plane instead.

Have you ever been in a car? You could've taken the bus instead.

He probably wasn't on that plane alone, he likely had a lot of other people on it so its not like he flew just a plane for him. Plus those planes are smaller.

We all know in reality, he's scarfing down non-vegan steaks and burgers in his oversized dining room made in his house made from the wood of dozens of chopped down trees, lit by the same electricity and power company polluting the environment.

Well it doesn’t.

But why would you want to eat something that is so highly processed? How do you create cheese, milk and meat without cheese, milk and meat? With a slew of non-foodsincluding stabilizers, gums, thickeners and highly processed protein extracts. Yummy.

The majority of foods in conventional supermarkets are processed, not all "processed" foods are equal.

Many meat substitute products are made from high quality plant foods and can be quite healthy.

Others may be not so "healthy" but the point is that they are a better alternative still for the highly processed meat products in supermarkets contributing to pollution and disease.

One can make plenty of "natural" alternatives themselves using nuts and beans to make nut-milks, nut "cheese" and bean burgers.

Ok, you can argue how much you want about vegetarianism, but about the plane it’s pure b*llshit.

Eat his burgers, but do not defend him on this one. He could travel first class with the same team of people to Nice. He decided to use a private jet instead that is worse for the environment, to travel to Nice and receive an environmental award.

Again, you can defend this plant-based diet, but I mean we can all agree that he shouldn’t use a private jet.

Why eat highly processed foods in the first place?

That's not what vegans eat from what I understand :oprah:

Ok, so I’m with you on the processed meat products in supermarkets. I’m talking for actual meat.

Yes, one can make plenty of “natural” alternatives themselves and I have eaten bean burgers, but this is different from factories processing the food.

(Also)

Are meat, cheese and milk really all that appetizing?

I used to love my cheesy pizza but after going vegan for a number of years and opening my mind to the realities of the food industry, the thought of consuming the secretions or flesh of another sentient being truly disgusts me.

I still enjoy making my own pizza from time to time! Even omitting the dairy and meat, it's delicious!

Also, for skeptics.

Check out this guy's channel:

He's cute AND vegan :lolly:

But specifically look at the ingredients. You already have at least half of those in your pantry/kitchen already. It's that straightforward.

I admit budget could be an issue. But just shop smart. There are countless Reddit threads and websites on vegan/vegetarian diets that are frugal and healthy.

Much love everyone.

I don't see anything wrong with factories making vegan convenience food if it makes going vegan more accessible and appealing to people. Not all processed vegan products are even that unhealthy, it depends from product to product.

Some new lab made vegan foods could even help combat world hunger and reduce dependence on livestock.

we don't know that at all so stop trying to trash someone who's using his platform to help make a change the planet needs

Meat, cheese and milk are appetizing, yes.

If we truly believe that no living thing should have to die for our dinner, we shouldn’t eat at all. If we truly believe that all life deserves equal respect, why not equalize ourselves by embracing the elegant fact that we are all driven by the same hungers that motivate any other creature - the squirrel in the forest, the vole in the meadow, the bear on the mountainside, the deer in the valley?

I copied that. :selena:

What does natural even mean? I assure you all the ingredients in the Beyond Burger come from nature,

Full list of ingredients:

Spoiler

The Beyond Burger: pea protein isolate, expeller-pressed canola oil, refined coconut oil, water, yeast extract, maltodextrin, natural flavors, gum arabic, sunflower oil, salt, succinic acid, acetic acid, non-GMO modified food starch, cellulose from bamboo, methylcellulose, potato starch, beet juice extract (for color), ascorbic acid (to maintain color), annatto extract (for color), citrus fruit extract (to maintain quality), vegetable glycerin.

But the point of the beyond burger is to be a delicious vegan replication of the taste of a big juicy beef patty, so it's not really designed to be a health food but more of an indulgence.

Just like you could walk or take the bus instead of riding in a car.

Planes fill up. Last minute decisions are made. Everyone uses a private jet so no I don't really think we can argue he shouldn't use one
