juju 18,907 Posted October 15, 2017 Share Posted October 15, 2017 Blackout is overrated, but that doesn't take away from its impact; it was one of the first mainstream pop albums to popularize that left-field electronic sound, which has influenced just about all of our faves and some of their very best music. I think it deserves more praise than it gets tbh Circus is her best album though, the dance songs are bangers, the ballads are all distinct and memorable, and the more mid-tempo songs still bop to this day. It was an amazing comeback record, and still has me snatched. Up there would be self-titled and Glory, for me.
