A Head Full of Dreams Tour alone outgrosses both combined. 

I don't know about the Garth guy but the other two are the biggest touring forces in the world. Afaik the Coldplay tour already grossed $500m

AMA nominees are actually based on NIELSEN DATA.

Therefore the nominees are legit based on the best performing songs, albums and artists within the AMA time frame. Then the public gets to choose their favorite from that list.

So from this time last year, to this time this year 

Rihanna, Gaga and Alessia have been the top 3 female artists. Which makes sense cuz that's literally the time Joanne has been out. Rihanna's ANTI has continued to stream well, Love on the Brain was big and she featured on a few songs. And Alessia had Scars to Your Beautiful, Stay and the new Logic song (features get credited as much as leads).

So if you're mad at the AMA's, be mad at the GP instead.

So then why is The Chainsmokers -Closer nominated for best Country Song? As well as favorite Dance album when their album tanked? And before you say anything about it being because of closer streams, that song wasn't even on that album.

The song charted for so long that it drifted into this past year and still reigned high on the charts

but that doesn't make a difference, it's not a country song and it's not on the album that's nominated.
