Some of you are saying these impressions are spot on In interviews, concerts and elsewhere, she sounds down to earth and chill, like more similar to how she sounded in the Walmart scene in the documentary when she was talking to the manager about why she wanted to check on her CDs, "you know the record business is tough". DrKindnessKunt2005 6,283 Posted October 7, 2017 Share Posted October 7, 2017 Ross' impression reminds me more of The Countess than Gaga honestly 🤷🏻♀️I'm guessing that since both Ross' and Isla's interactions occurred around the same time that Gaga was thinking about being a glamorous character for LG5 (before Joanne was thought about) Gaga spoke in a more regal accent, similar to The Countess' accent, since AHS Hotel was also an inspiration for LG5 before she changed her mind, worked with Mark Ronson and JoanneGa was born. As in a special intimate conversation you would have with a close relative. Ahem.. those 2 am porch/outdoor talks with your aunt and a pack of cigarettes. When she's with people she trusts or in concert, her voice is normal. I think it's because maybe when she's with people she's not really familiar with she (consciously or subconsciously) puts on a more proper and regal accent. It was The Countess era where she was just being her 24/7. other times I notice in interviews or where she's at events where she may be uncomfortable she talks very proper and almost robotic.
