They predicted a Bey sweep last year with Adele only winning ROTY. The only year they managed to somewhat closely predict is 2012 and even then they said SOTY would go to someone else. AOTY has SZA/Foo Fighters/A Tribe Called Quest/Jay-Z/Childish Gambino. None are gonna get AOTY nods.I'd be ecstatic if my good sis SZA got an AOTY nod, but I'd say that Melodrama (my other good sis) is gonna be the female AOTY nominee and SZA still isn't a huge name (though if Sheetrat can **** off I'd cry if SZA and Lorde were both nominated). I wouldn't say that Bruno is a lock either (though chances are he's getting a nod). Pop vocal album is pretty accurate and while Joanne is going strong here, Melodrama or 24k can easily win too. ROTY/SOTY are also not that far fetched, but I don't see Bodak Yellow and Issues getting nods. MR could win SOTY. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Halftime Show was never gonna win the Emmy, I mean, the contenders were too strong. I think SZA has a BIG chance. She's the IT girl of the year, her album was acclaimed and her sales are really, really, really impressive. Kesha and her are the dark horses imo.
