Princess Stache 2,066 Posted October 6, 2017 Share Posted October 6, 2017 We all know that for the past 10 years Gaga has been delivering consistently good albums whether it's been glam rock, synth pop, EDM, country, folk, electro pop, etc. I'm pretty sure that I'll like whatever Gaga decides to do for her next album, but I decided to make a mini concept and tracklist for it. I would really like to hear what others would like to see too. Album: Music is Dead (Released July 20th 2018) Album sound: Crunchy strong synth instrumentals like from ARTPOP with the darkness of songs from TFM. There are a few electronic ballads, one more upbeat like Gypsy, one more somber like Speechless. It's ultimately taking the music industry and turning it on it's head. Gaga reinvents herself as a dark pop goddess. Lead Single: Chaos Angel (This song title (fake) has been speculated by fans for years but I think it perfectly suits the album.) Released June 15th 2018 This song is reminiscent of Dance in the Dark and Perfect Illusion, Gaga's voice is extremely powerful. It's in your face like PI and Applause, heavy chorus moderate length verses, and a killer bridge. Potential to go top 5 on Billboard. Album Tracks: Maudlin: Dedicated to her family and grandmother specifically, apologizes for being on the road all the time and almost looks back on the Joanne era. This is the down-tempo ballad. Chaos Angel To Me- It's a love song dedicated to Christian, it's up-tempo feel-good pop like Eh Eh and Come to Mama, her voice is high and sweet, uses lighter synths (similar to The Fame) Radio- It's a complete rework of Nothing on But the Radio. Some of the chorus and its melody is kept but the song is mostly changed. Crunchy beats like Donatella but a relatively high key, ultimately sounds like an infusion of light and dark. Breathe- Up tempo ballad, empowering peace within oneself through meditation. The song references Gaga's fibromyalgia and mental state and talks about how she has to stop and take a deep breath when she's feeling overwhelmed. My Love- It's a reference to The Cure and is a song for the Little Monsters, it has a similar message to The Cure, but also addresses the fans that stood by Gaga while she had to postpone the JWT and was battling her fibromyalgia. It's a bit darker sounding but sung with an uplifting tone, synths are like a mix of So Happy I Could Die and Sexxx Dreams. Fragile- A song about crossing the borders to intimacy, with Gaga saying she'll give her lover all the space they need. Alternative rock with a trip-hop vibe to it. Aurora-Trip-hop and eletronic, Gaga compares the beauty of the skies with her love. Dancin Till Dawn-A very Hey Girl-like song with some trip-hop influences, it's very carefree. Gaga says she'll forget all her troubles that night, and that she'll be between the trees dancing 'till dawn. Polaris- Gaga talks about her love for stars, how they give her hope and how they guide her. Eletronic. Beautiful Mistake-Eletronic and dance-pop, Gaga talks about all the mistakes she's ever done in her life, and says she wouldn't change a single one of them, because they made her who she is. Dahlia- Gaga's Bedtime Story, has lots of metaphors on flowers, love, ilusions and reality. Supernova- Electropop with strong trip-hop influence, about the concept "Without order, there's no chaos. Without chaos, there's no order", using a supernova as a metaphor for death and rebirth and about her overcoming her issues and rising again like a phoenix. Repetition-Trip-hop and soft-rock, very lirically similiar to "Ghost" by Beyoncé and "Drowned World/Substitute For Love" by Madonna. Phobia- Alternative pop with R&B influences, Gaga says for her lover not to worry, she also has her phobias and they can overcome it together. Wind- Eletronic, talks about how life is just like wind, passes by us so quickly and yet we pass it aside. Singles: Fragile: With a music video directed by Pierre Debusschere and Haus Of Gaga, Gaga tries to reach her lover, represented by a figure in a mirror of water. Every time she touches it, strange effects happen, like Gaga being doubled, being sent to various scenarios in gorgeous outfits and her having her hands stuck in the mirror. In the end, she closes her eyes, becomes calm and manages to pass it. It is never shown what happens after she crosses the mirror. The song goes #5. Phobia: The music video, directed by Mark Romanek, shows Gaga in scenarios that represent various phobias: in a dinner with clowns (fear of clowns), as a mermaid in the sea (fear of water), dressed gothic with spiders and webs on her face (fear of spiders) and others. The song peaks at #5 too. Wind: Directed by Chris Cunnigham, Gaga is in a simplistic look (jeans and white shirt, with a necklace), walking around in the streets. As people pass in front of her (thus cutting her from the camera's view), the coloration and scenario change. She then is on an unknown place, with the dawn sky behind her. She singing there is intercut with scenes of her in a simple white dress and on a black scenario stuck in the middle of an infinity symbol, as she tries to leave. She then is shown wearing a black dress, coordenating an orchestra in the middle of the Grand Canyon. In the end, she is seen wearing a black jacket, top and skirt, as she jumps from a cliff into the ocean. The wind blows strongly in every scene of the video except on the first few, happier, colorful scenes. The song peaks at #1, earning Gaga her fourth number one since Born This Way in 2011. Supernova- The music video is directed by Steven Klein, very similiar to the Gaga x Intel Grammys performance trailer. Lots of special effects (as it's on space) and supernova images. There's also scenes of Gaga rising (naked) from between the ashes.
