Werk 13,166
So I know Bodak Yellow by Cardi B is apparently counted as the first solo rap song by a female rapper to go #1 since Lauryn Hill but what about London Bridge by Fergie? Does it count as a rap song? And if it does then shouldn't it be first solo female rap song since Fergie considering how London Bridge went #1 in 2006? Saint Hollywood 37,364
Fergie is listed as a female singer and rapper, so in my opinion, she should be counted. Lauryn Hill had singing in her #1 song, so why not appreciate Fergie's song too? Plus, Nicki Minaj sings in about half of her discography, but she's still seen as a rapper (for the most part)

weed 74,416
Oooo esp since Lauryn's song has lots of normal singing in it and it's counted as rap, I feel like it totally should

JohnWayne92 2,228
I completely say yes. She has always been one to rap. Its one of the things she is known for...i mean... GagasPussy 312
This is not a rap song. She does not deliver enough rhymes and consistent flow for me to count it as one. Its definitely hip hop influenced song. Lauryn Hill had two verses of 16+bars of rapping although she was singing during the chorus.
migamiga 12,102
It's not really rapping though.... And she's technically not a rapper so no
ARTCHAOS 1,687
Fergalicious sounds more like a hip-hop/rap song than London Brigde, so no
