RochestrMonstr 3,216
Joanne definitely did it better. Both are amazing though. Rainbow still beats out almost any other pop-girl album from the past year. You can tell both of these girls tried hard and put their souls into their work, during a time where many others simply gave us throwaway albums. ryanripley 86,575
joanne, rainbow is overrated on this website it's a good album but the first half is basically the same thing in different colours but Praying is literally a masterpiece https://goo.gl/xMgMvJ
Sorcerer 12,507
Joanne. Rainbow, while being lyrically and sonically emotional and enjoyable, lacked big distinct melodies that Diamond Heart and Million Reasons had. Joanne definitely had more complex and bigger production. Million Reasons and Joanne made me cry, something Rainbow did not do to me. I liked Diamond Heart, Million Reasons and Hey Girl more than the entirety of Rainbow.

djBuffoon 12,120
"Diamond Heart" and "Million Reasons" alone top anything on Rainbow. But that is not a knock against Kesha, that album was a huge step forward for her. But Joanne was also a step forward for Gaga, who was miles ahead to begin with. Pop Music 20,540
Joanne. Although I love rainbow and I'm seeing Kesha live next month I do think that gaga just did absolutely phenomenal. This is the era i've connected with gaga the most. The era I finally got noticed. The era I got to see her live for the first time. Pop Music and Lady Gaga forever! GypsyBabe 22,836
I will choose Joanne because it is one of my favorite albums ever, but I am also incredibly biased because I dislike Kesha’s voice so... ⚯͛
