They were around the same time but I'm still shook. Paparazzi really is what started Gaga. @Edge Of Venus Yes I'm fighting you. My opinion may be a mainstream one but the VMA performance of Paparazzi was the best. It was truly the first "Gaga" avant garde performance. And in my opinion, the vocals are so much better in that performance than in this one. I don't like this one's as much and the background beat is too loud and doesn't do the song justice. The Super Bowl HTS, a starring role in a movie, a candid and honest look into her personal life, and she's preparing to go on hiatus for a while. It must feel like such a big step to her, I'm not surprised that she's looking back at the road that's led her here Also, I'm sure she's disappointed about the delayed tour and misses performing for the fans.
