USA voted against the Ban, so the thread title eligible

Ugh, I'm done arguing. Yes, that was what the measure was about but it's not the reason.

It's fighting about a title vs the content of a book.

The US has no less power. Being a country with nuclear weaponry seals that in as fact. The rest of the non-Nuclear powers can hush-hush wrongdoers and sip tea with a side of pâté with their moral high ground but at the end of the day it means nothing in regards to true power.

They only real power the US has, is the Power of Fear.

We sided with The Middle East wtf.

Tbf you invaded us :selena:. Still a horrific and terrible decision, but I have to say that I'm not surprised. A pretty American move if you ask me.

Japan voted against this too. This clickbait title made me less informed than I was before I saw it.

I don't even know what they voted against because the title and op don't explain **** about what it is.

You are asking me to take sides without properly explaining what was voted on? :oprah:

Japan also voted against the measure? Why? I don't know.

Following is the actual UN resolution

@Melech can you add the link to the OP so that people can read it themselves? The part relevant to OP is on page 3.

I live in India where homosexuality is punishable by law. Of course my country voted against the resolution :smh:
