He broke some racial boundaries of the 1950s (even published an interview with MLK when nobody else would), promoted male and female sexual (both heterosexual and homosexual) freedom in an overly conservative country, as well as being hugely supportive through funding of many women's charities (equal rights amendment and abortion rights). His money has gone to many causes to make the world a better place. I don't agree with the objectifying of women. I don't agree with the lifestyle, but a woman should be allowed to make that decision for themselves.
