Neight Shayde 7,925 Posted September 25, 2017 Share Posted September 25, 2017 I know that streaming is the future but I feel like a physical copy of the documentary would be a great idea, especially for those who don't have Netflix subscriptions (and downloaded them illegally ). I need a new Gaga DVD in my collection! Added featurettes, deleted scenes, a commentary from the director, haus members (and maybe gaga), maybe add in a dive bar tour performance or two at the NYC stop, etc. Thoughts? However, it COULD happen but I wouldn't expect it anytime before 2019 cuz they'll stream it for a year or more at least. A Netflix original has never made it to a physical release. The business model is that Netflix produces it, and gains new subscribers that are attracted to their exclusive content - keyword = exclusive. I'm not sure of their process because it seems rather weird. Like how they choose what to release and what not to. Maybe it all depends on who owns what, rights, etc. That's what could work in the docs favor. I'm hoping so because I want bonus footage...like 8 hours of it.
