Gaga is the strongest female contender for Grammies.. but the male domination commercially is just OBVIOUS..

so I'm not getting my hopes for the big4 but still positive for a SOTY nom.

Grammys dont like rap hip hop albums if they are not '' too deep '' or whatever. 

Bruno , Ed and Kendrick on lock for AOTY but there are still 2 slots left.

Joanne really can make it to the AOTY guys. Metacritic score aint a thing. 

Critics just love to reviews Gaga's albums. 67 metacritic score with 27 reviews is just amazing. 

People usually cant get over 60s when their albums reviewed by over 27 critics.

oops sorry to break it to you.. but J.COLE sold over 600k pure album sales, while MOANA Sound track is alsp at 700k or 800k so that puts JOANNE at 8.. still highest for females..

Just consider what happens when you’re not one of the very biggest sellers: David Bowie‘s “Blackstar” was one of the most acclaimed albums of 2016, and it was a sentimental favorite because of Bowie’s subsequent death. 8. Lady Gaga - she's the underdog, definitely the 6th option since they'll get the 5th spot from Critically acclaimed album but didn't do that good ala (Melodrama, Rainbow, other alternative indie albums, country album, etc)

9. Miranda Lambert - no no no

10. Rolling Stones - no no no

there you have it ladies, JOANNE isnt really that far for AOTY noms as we all thought but she's the underdog so don't get your hopes up and light your Alejandro candles day and night instead.
