Taylor first day sales UK = just over 46k.... 1k less then 1989 First Day.

1989 did 90k

With EMA in the UK and if Taylor Wins, I think she could reach three digits? so around 100k.

They've got at most half of the nominations correct only every year so I don't see your point. And those nominations are the most obvious ones like Adele lmao. They may have connections on industry news, but not specifically on Grammy voters. There are over hundreds of Grammy voters. You seriously think they are able to predict who is every voter is going to vote for. Not a chance. :ladyhaha:

Billboard is much more reliable at predicting Grammy nominations than HDD and tbh, is the only valid one. :gaycat:

I'm not sure if you're thinking I'm trying to convince anyone that Billboard is not more reliable or that I'm saying HDD is the only reliable source? I just said their predictions mean a lot and they do. I'm not arguing if Billboard knows more or if HDD is more than 55% of the time right or wrong about their predictions. I just said their predictions mean a lot and that they in fact have strong ties with the music industry and it's not up to you or me to say that they may have them regarding the news and they do not have them when it comes to Grammy voters. As simple as that.

And no, Billboard is not the only one valid, sis.:hor: Even tho some of us would want to believe that simply bc they gave Gaga more chances than HDD or any other outlet out there. Let's hope that Billboard in fact knows more and that my willingness to provide some balance by saying we should not underestimate HDD will be tossed aside as irrelevant after we learn that Gaga received noms.

I'm not saying Billboard is the only one reliable source because Billboard predicted Gaga. I'm saying it because you can't deny the facts that HDD does not have the expertise in Grammys predictions. They may have strong ties with the music industry, but believe it or not it's only regarding sales and releases. Their predictions haven't been accurate for years and it never will be because they are as clueless as others. Simple as that :hor:

I'd be surprised if there was much of an impact from the EMAs for the performers, let alone just winning. There is no hype for them at all despite them being here and no one watches MTV - their award shows rarely make as much as a dent.

Again and with all due respect, you have no idea if they have info or not. It's not about me believing in it. Their predictions have, like what, 55% accuracy? There's a reason they're called predictions. Also, Billboard is better at predicting the noms, right? I'm not arguing that. Not at all. I'm saying we should not underestimate HDD.
