I think Lady Gaga fans will be able to shade anyone not staying #1 for more than three weeks when Gaga will be able to hit #1 again with a song. Which didn't happen once in almost 7 years.

she's not even underperforming... LWYMMD spent more weeks at #1 than shake it off and everyone says that SIO was a smash hit but its weird that almost everyone on here is saying that lwymmd is not doing as good as 1989 when it literally sold more in its first week than SIO.

I used to say that 1989 was her peak i don't know anymore, its to early to tell. Gorgeous debuted #13 without promo nor mv and RFI #4. her singles are doing better than 1989

 

before she released 1989, taylor dropped two promo singles:  out of the woods debuted #18 and welcome to new york #48 while the reputation promo singles debuted #4 and #13, shes doing better than 1989 so far.

SIO first week of sales 544k/ LWYMMD 353k but that's huge in 2017 so you're lowkey true 

Taylor is underperforming compared to her last era but at the same time the song isn't something the GP really likes and this year until now(havana and SNS) females are truly underperforming or flopping

i just wish she has a great second single and help the era to have longevity
