Next week, Kesha is aiming to be the 9th lead solo female this year to have a Top 10 on Pop Radio. "Praying" currently sits at #11. (lead solo meaning they're the only act billed as the lead. They can have a feature artist)

If the current radio trends like it is today, Praying should be at #9 on pop radio next week.

Is that all it costs?  That's so little for Gaga or Interscope.  Gaga must not be pushing for it.  Looks like she's not about the bling at all.

i think they nowdays just cetify when it matters. MR 1xplat=helping the chances of grammys and was a motivation for radios to play the song when it was still struggling on radio. Joanne=increase grammy chances. certifying old songs from like 3x plat to 4x plat doesn't make a diffrence really. But they should really update everything at some point though, prob before she start promoting next era so her new total single/album sales could be a way to promote her.

PI could be platinum though, right? Having two platinum songs would look good if Joanne wants to win AOTY.

It could definitely be, but we don't know the exact numbers from other streaming platforms ex (Apple, Tidal, Pandora) - for example MR had around 15m on Pandora / Probably now is at 30 - 40M.
