ArtGagaPop 61,940
Let's post this great info in the right thread GAGA'S STREAMING SPIKES AFTER FIVE FOOT TWO Lady Gaga is enjoying a streaming spike in the wake of the documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two bowing on Netflix. The film, taking viewers behind the scenes of a year in her life leading up to her Super Bowl LI performance, recently premiered at the Toronto Film Festival. The Netflix launch, however, has boosted no fewer than 10 tracks. Spotify reported a 53% increase in Interscope's "Joanne" songstress's streams as of the Monday after Five Foot Two's premiere (9/25). "Joanne" in particular boasted a 365% streaming increase since the Monday prior to the doc's release (9/18). "Hey Girl" had a 259% bump and "Sinner's Prayer" was up 238%. All 10 of the songs reported had at least a 100% increase. http://hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=308613

Supersonic 49,376
God, that one thread reminded me that Interscope and Tr*y C*rter actually thought that Judas was a good single. If Gaga really had her way in the BTW era and made no compromises with single choices, the era really wouldn't have fizzled out so quickly. Like some fans talk sh*t, but our good Gagz has actually a rather good ear for hits. The only label choice that worked so far was Million Reasons, but only because it was like super obvious it would do good. DWUW/Venus was a disaster. Judas/TEOG was a disaster, Perfect Illusion was a disaster, Dance in the Dark and Boys Boys Boys would have been disasters too if Gaga didn't say "F*ck off, release this as a single and I'll retire." Interscope if y'all see this: Let Gagz choose singles herself.

Arturo 40,746
Wow the streaming increase was massive for the album tracks. To be a true streaming artist your album tracks have to get decent streams as well. Not just your singles. I'm glad the entire album is being appreciated more. And honestly how can you not after watching 5F2? Anyone that watches can see how important the album is to her and how much work in terms of writing, production, and mixing was put into this album. Let's get Joanne to 500M streams on Spotify!!
