Perfume: Story of a Murderer

8.5/10

I love this movie so much. If you like something a little philosophical and disturbing, this is the right movie for you. It is an English Speaking German film so it's nice to have something other that doesn't follow Hollywood's mold.

PLOT SUMMARY:

The movie is set in 1700s France. A young man named Jean-Baptiste, who has an inhuman ability to sense every smells possible surrounding him. He set out to find the most perfect perfume ever created, but things went dark as his ambition grew.

Great movie, and the book is a superb classic of literature by Suskind if you'd like to read it :legend:

Great movie, and the book is a superb classic of literature by Suskind if you'd like to read it :legend:

I read it online :shy:

When I first watched the movie, I didn't understand why they included a narrator, because the movie would flow more fluently without it. But the last line at the end "For the first time they had done something out of Love" made it all clear to me why they have it. I love that line so much from the book. :legend:

One Five Ten

Neighbors (UK/Aus: Bad Neighbours): Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, Rose Byrne, Dave Franco - 9.5/10.

Best comedy film since "This Is The End" and probably since "Bridesmaids", absolutely fantastic. Rose Byrne is definitely the star but Zac finally proves himself with Rogen actually being the cast's weakest link (barely). Comedy is on point, laughed all the way through. :legend:
