I feel bad. She should have stayed quiet about the album until she was certain it was ready to be released. She released L.A. Love in 2014, MILF $ in mid 2016, Double Dutchess' campaign has been dragging for a long time, and to not release anything for the remainder of 2016  

I don't think putting L.A. Love and MILF $ was a good move, as they've both had their fame and reviving not one but two old singles, I'm kinda not surprised too. Ive listened to the whole of Double Dutchess and tbh it isn't as good as 'The Dutchess'. The only song I really liked on the album was 'A Little Work'. The visual part makes up for the album but still, the whole thing doesn't really suit her.

Just wanted to clarify that she put out "Life Goes On" in November of 2016 as a single and it flopped as well. I think it was the most single worthy single, so its too bad

The promo was a mess, the album was out (leaked) before the tracklist was even released, and the music is basic. Unfortunate, but not surprising.

I honestly tried to listen to the album in full on Spotify and had to stop about 3-4 songs in. Was prepared to love it but found it primarily unlistenable. Didn't even realize the album was out until I saw someone post about it on Instagram...

I remember that MJ's last studio album Invincible (when he was alive) sold 5 million copies in 3-4 months...and another 6 million the rest of the 2002 without promo (cuz Sony and MJ were sueing eachother, so promo was halted/cancelled)

now one has to basically put millions into an album in order to get a small fraction of sales  

It’s crazy though because albums aren’t what usually gave artists income, it’s their touring, so the record labels are the ones that are suffering

It is even sadder cos Fergie don’t have a label anymore now cos she left Interscope before this album out. So if this album does not sell, she will have very little in returns for herself
