During the press conference of the extreme-right AfD, who got 12 % of the votes yesterday, Frauke Petry announces that she will not be part of the AfD-opposition in the parliament. According to another party member Jörg Meuthen this was not discussed beforehand. Gauland (one of the two leaders of the party in this election) 's commentary on this: "Die Partei ist ein gäriger Haufen, und jetzt ist da jemand obergärig geworden." Which translates to something along the lines of: "This party is a fermenting crowd and now somebody got overly-fermenting" (?? I did not know how to phrase it correctly. She will join the parliament, but not as part of the AfD. Seehofer wolle vorerst offen lassen, ob CDU und CSU auch im neuen Bundestag eine Fraktionsgemeinschaft bilden, verlautete am Montag aus Teilnehmerkreisen. Demnach wollte Seehofer den CSU-Vorstand nach einer offenen Debatte über den künftigen Umgang mit der Schwesterpartei abstimmen lassen.
