I'm not saying I want America to do that btw, I hope that we would try to do something less bloody but this is the United States. We spend 100s of millions on bombs a years. It's clear that the MIC is super excited to use them.

I know you didn't don't worry. But unfortunately you are right, NK would be vaporised, with all of its poor innocent citizens.

Let's not blame Trump entirely tho, NK has been threatening the United States for years and has been trying to scare the rest of the world and bully them into giving them ****. This is more their fault then Trump, who is just reacting to their rhetoric.

if they didn't want to be provoked or threatened, they shouldn't have poked the world most powerful nation.

I hope none of this happens, as it would be very sad to see so many innocent people die.

True, but he can cause unprecedented damage to Tokyo and Seoul. He is not that stupid to try and destroy LA when he has about 200 million people from Japan and South Korea in reach of his rockets. He is trying to save his regime from being removed by making the price for his removal too high to pay. 

Honestly, they should have held behind the closed door talks already. Let China guarantee the safety of North Korea in return for the removal of all the nuclear material from there. I know it's cruel to people who actually suffer under that regime, but imagine if he sold nukes to Iran, or Turkey or Saudi Arabia, the mess would be real

Continuously escalating the situation with threat after threat from both side doesn't seem like a productive way forward  It's clear neither side cares about the other's 'range of military options' so the only thing this kinds of behavior does is inflame the situation imo.
