I remember seeing one with Marina and the Diamonds and the host was like "Your new album(FROOT) spawned 5 hits!" ...when barely any of her FROOT singles charted lmao. Do the interviewers not stop to question the validity of claims when it comes through their feeds? These people interview big names all the time - surely they realise that Fergie's not released an album in just over a decade, she's not had so much as a top 20 this era, she's not being played on the radio or has any streaming power and the Foo Fighters album is only in its second week of release? How could they genuinely believe she was at #1? This is so embarrassing to see her reaction, moving her to the max, hugs and all. As if the mixed response to her album and her divorce wasn't enough, now she's lied to about the biggest achievement she's made in years. WTF happens to 2000s queens - Nelly Furtado, Pink, Gwen Stefani - They all deserve to be on the top! Like they are waay too talented to just sit at the back and let the huge labels decide what's best for them.. I pray for DD to reach number 1, like it's great continuetion of TD.
