Yeah, im not sure why this is a thing, but artists tend to release their Christmas albums in October. Pentatonix do it, Kelly Clarkson did it, etc. They don't reach their peaks till December. I bet it's just to get as much sales as possible before Christmas season is over. Super fans will buy the albums right away and some people get into the Christmas spirit in October, i guess.
