The 90s TV show was so silly, campy and fun to watch, I don't know if I would be interested in seeing a mature and dark version of it But this is coming from someone who has just found out the show comes from a comic book and has no idea if the source material is actually dark and they destroyed it with the TV show, if that's the case, then go ahead, lol If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating. A cursory Google search shows that the original Sabrina is much like he original archie. Funny and probably light-hearted, from what I can see of the covers. The comics were their own thing until the release of the show and the animated adaptation, where the characters of the comic were then retooled to match their counterparts in the animated/live-action series. However, there was a change of hands (which is why there are Sabrina comics that look like they're manga) where the series was given a dramatic storyline alongside its new style. Then the comic was canceled, in 2009. And nw, with more research, this show is actually following a different canon The Chilling Adventures of not Rose from Homestuck So... this is actually canon. But it's going to be very shocking for those who go into this new show.
