I loved the album, the concerts, the era!  Such a lovely time
Until now, it's also the closest I've physically gotten to Gaga: during the tour I was seated at the 6th row, she was so close
I've seen her closer during the other tours but for shorter amounts of time, when she was walking by on the catwalk for example, but to be THAT close to her the whole time felt amazing!

are you sure about that? watch her interviews around 2014/15, she literally says "i wanted to quit music"

she was severely unhappy, i would go as far as to say she would may have attempted suicide if she never found that happiness but that's not something i can confirm without being behind closed doors :/

I believe in her and i'm sure she is strong enough to know that no matter what, her fans will always be with her and support her no matter what she chooses to do.

C2C changed gaga's life forever. If it wasn't for Tony I don't think she'll be able to be this happy and fulfilled right now, plus everyone now knows her vocal chops at Jazz. Truly cemented her "chameleon" status.

Remember, Tony asked her to make a Jazz album, and not the other way around. Thank you, Tony, for believing in Gaga and her immense talent.

Cheek To Cheek Too needs to happen next year tbh

Didn't Tony say he was talking with Gaga about making a sequel last year, but it didn't got released because of Joanne? I don't know, but I do know that it would be great to have another album in the period of time she isn't releasing anymore other pop music, or normal albums like Joanne.

yeah with Joanne, the tour, and ASIB they didn't have enough time to squeeze one more album in.

He evokes this sequel since CTC era in 2014, then in 2015 and in 2016 as an album that is coming 'next year'... We are almost in 2018 and still nothing...

Not sure Gaga would like to make a sequel just to make a sequel. If it happens I think she'll try to bring something new, not only a CTC 2.0

Loved the era...still live the album to this day!

In about a month, the leaves will start to turn and I'll break out C2C again. It reminds me of fall. I'll play it when I'm outside sitting on my patio, taking road trips, having people over, around Thanksgiving time and when doing xmas decorations and shopping!

I Can't Give You Anything But Love :diane:

Lush Life :diane:

A ****ing FANTASTIC album, and honestly her most cultured, high-brow piece of work. The performances, looks, and tour were incredible and her voice grew so much.

I would be THRILLED if she did another jazz album after JWT. She grew so much as a person last time, and it honestly saved her life after ARTPOP.

bloody g

I REALLY wish C3C happened, but I think it will all become an ARTPOP volume II kind of rumour :selena:

Especially since Gaga has said that she doesn't want to do what everyone expects.

Here's what I'll say: It's very very old school beautiful. I love the album; it's such a good listen and they are both so fantastic together. I don't think it deserved the hype it got mainstream when it was released since it didn't reinvent jazz or do anything new, though. Other modern jazz artists are constantly looking for new ways to interpret things or go back and find songs no one has sung to death. It's what keeps the genre alive. I recommend listening to Cecile McCloren Salvant's "For One to Love" for instance. She's an astounding vocalist and the songs are *so* fresh and different and she wrote a couple on there, too!

Back to Cheek to Cheek, I adore this album; it's so full of emotion and is beautifully arranged and performed. My only wish is that I could have seen them on tour, but oh well. I'd love for Gaga to collaborate with some modern jazz singers in the future. They have the spark of creativity she does and I think they could really bring out the best in her and she could give them good exposure. Cheek to Cheek gave her jazz credibility now I'd like to see her do something amazing with it be that another album with Tony, jazz incorporation into her albums, etc. Thank the stars for Cheek to Cheek.
