Good for Taylor. She is the only pop girl at the moment bringing iconic visuals, and the songs are good. 

Lots of bitter little monsters in here. I'm a little monster and have never bought one Taylor album, but she is bringing it right now. Y'all can stay mad while she has two singles in the top 5, the most viewed video, and prob the biggest selling album of the next year.

The ****? So you mean to tell me Rihanna, the most successful female pop girl of the past decade, with MEDIOCRE TALENT is not a person of color? Are you that thirsty to make everything about racer?  Taylor is a good singer, plays instruments, writes all of her songs. What is your definition of mediocre? 

Beyonce is a POC and sells out arenas and has huge album sells. The biggest pop artist of all time is a POC. No one ignores POC and their talents.

Honey this is all your opinion. Taylor is a good singer. If you don't like her that's YOUR OPINION. She isn't a vocalist but she is a pop singer who writes her songs, plays a lot of the instruments on her album. She has great stage presence. She doesn't have the choreo beyonce has, but so what. Taylor's songs are written to cater to her audience. She's not making huge political statements, her songs are insanely singable. That's why she is so big. 

 Oh you want receipts? There  have been plenty of female singers that are huge, despite having mediocre voices.- Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez,  Paula Abdul, Janet Jackson(her father bought her career), Aaliyah, TLC, and the list goes on and on. 

There is a formula called, being attractive, that really gets you in. But Face it, you're just mad that's taylor is killing it once again. Stay mad.

In fact let's do a little history lesson. Everyone loves to hate on the popular white girl. Gaga and Aguilera were both dragged and had flops, and huge backlashes, even though both are exceptionally talented. Katy Perry, Britney, and Taylor have all had either flops or backlashes. Katy might not even be able to recover. Beyoncé and riahanna have not had flops or backlashes.beyonce hasn't had a hit single since 2009, but she can still sell albums and sell out arenas.  So really, the public loves to hate on the most popular girl in school, unless they are black and attractive. The stupid argument can go both ways.

The most successful girl group of the 90s- TLC(not the pretty white spice girls, even though Mel C could out sing any member of TLC under the table). Biggest girl group of the 2000's- Destiny's Child(not Dream, or any other girl group we have forgotten about). See, black girls dominate in a lot of categories. It almost pays to be black and beautiful.
