If this is true then there you go Little Managers, Dancin' In Circles is not just a "bop" they wrote just to have a funky song and make it a pop album.

AND DON'T START WITH "Gaga didn't release Dancin' In Circles as a single because it reminds her of her pain" theories. :neyde:

And here I was thinking it was about masturbation. :saladga:

Remember when some people :neyde: were ticked off about Gaga's meet and greet thingy?

Well, what if the reason she made it groups was because she didn't want to have to hug and touch too many people, because she was in bad pain with her condition?

Well, I believe you're reading a bit much into it.... The meaning of the song is basically touching yourself while thinking about the one you love. I think the fire is merely the usual representation of passion, and the pain she's referring to is her suffering from being horny and away from the one she loves.

Of course, the fact she's suffering from chronic pain may add another layer of interpretation to the song, but saying the song is mainly about that is a bit of a reach to me. In the end, thematically, it is a classic Gaga song in the same vein as Poker Face or Sexxx Dreams, that are all dealing with what comes to one's mind during a sexual act.

Also, when she screams DANCING IN CIRCLES when the bridge ends maybe it's the pain she's feeling after she decides to "call out loud for" her lover.

Interesting!

I think we know what the original song is about, the exact opposite of what it is.

I don't know but maybe Driving in Circles is a way to express her losing her mind over pain, any type of it that she feels...

I think, overall, this inspired her to write the first version and there are hints about it all over the song.

Pretty sure it's not only about physical pain but also emotional one and probably a few different things she's feeling.

Maybe the "good" side of being alone is that the pain that she suffers from some acts is not there.

Yes, there are other things that can be harmful to her but it's like, at least this isn't causing pain.

It could also be that the fact she can't physically enjoy something that hurts so bad hurts her emotionally.

I see some of your points and it's very interesting. I think, maybe if that's not what the song is about, you sure gave Gaga an idea and new level of depth to her already amazing one.

The screams in the chorus! WOW you really made a good point on another ****ing level

But hey gurl, you could at least wait with it after I post my full version of Dancin' in Circles and while you're at it, rub your pain out with this

Driving in Circles? What?

Yes, this is the original name of the song.

I also put it in the artwork of the version I made for Dancin' in Circles

Those points make me think maybe that's why she's been so distant in the meet and greets - she doesn't want to get so intimate with fans because them hugging her for pictures is really painful for her body on a daily basis

That makes so much sense. Especially since The subject matter in DIC is such a departure from the overall theme of Joanne. It makes sense in the context of the album now
