While that doesn't sound bad, it's a pretty big margin of error considering that this is the system that elects the Commander in Chief of one of the most powerful nations in the world. It's not a couple hundred, not a couple thousand, not a couple hundred thousand, but 3 million. That's huge! It's also the system that helped destabilized a chunk of the middle east (Iraq). There are reports that Bush and the CIA or something knew about an attack (which would be 9/11) but ignored the threat since it wasn't that major, but I won't go that far since I don't have evidence. I wouldn't be surprised if it were true, but I'm not gonna go on a reach and say it is (but if it were true, well that's the electoral college for you). Besides 2 terms of Reagen and 1 term of Bush Sr, there hasn't been a case of a party winning 3 elections in a row (or at least in modern history). Obama probably would've won due to his popularity (and being having a black president excited lots of people), but it's one of those what if scenarios. If you all say 1 vote = vote to win I kinda want this answered (I'm ready for the backlash so ) If on Nov. 8th, 2016, where as Hillary won the election, and Trump lost, but what if Trump won the popular vote, but Hillary only won the electoral college? Granted I would've been happy for he moment, but I would've absolutely admitted publicly that it was unfair and that Trump deserved to be president in that situation.
