I'm glad someone made a thread like this explaining the situation in Brazil.

This is a constrictive discussion. The OP never blamed Gaga or said anything to that effect. 

OP was just explaining the severity of the situation for Brazilian fans, if I was in that position, living in Brazil, I'd be devastated too and also worried about the prospect of Gaga never being able to return to perform there.

Of course I'd also be sympathetic to Gaga's condition and glad she's taking care of her health and not putting herself through unnecessary pain.

The only thing we can hope now is that Gaga gets better and that her pain will go away and that her tweeted promise to return to Brazil soon will come true.

We all love Gaga and no one is saying she has to do anything special to make up for it because really it's not her fault but I genuinely believe she'd like to reach out to the fans in Brazil and maybe hold a concert there if possible, even if it's small, and give out tickets for a low or cheap price. Maybe have the proceeds go to Brazilian charities or even Fibromyalgia research.

Idk just a thought! Probably more likely if the concert would be part of a tour or maybe she could come back and headline Rock in Rio next year?

PS: I don't mean to be disrespectful. I know that "insignificant" is a strong word because people made so many sacrifices to attend the show, but just try and weigh that against the sh*t that she's going through (and add to it the fact that people all around the world, who are supposed to support her, are telling her to just kill herself).

I didn't mean here. They are giving her sh*t on Twitter non-stop. And the worst part is that she doesn't even come here, so all the nice stuff we say gets lost in a sea of negativity.

Actually I didn't see any of them besides some RTs that were in my feed. I stayed here talking about Fibromyalgia and learning more about it.

I respect the op's concerns but i think it's too soon to think ''what if she won't be able to perform in Brazil again etc''.

Right now Gaga is in pain so all she has to take care of is her health and her life. Everything else comes second.

Gaga is probably crying in her hospital bed. She loves her fans and would do anything for them. She, above all is the most devastated. And her "fans" are doing nothing but giving her **** and breaking her spirit even more.

She is more devastated than all beazilian fans combined.

Right now we should worry if shes going to be able to perform at all for the rest of her life, the stage is the most important thing for her in the world, and its at risk right now.

I dont wanna wakeup one day and see online "im retiring from touring".

And yes i understand that many fans struggle to see her, but that happens all the time, and not just in brazil, but everywhere, even in the US there are a lot that cant afford it, or at least not in time till it gets sold out.

I'm praying so much for her, and I imagine all the sadness she's going thru with this situation.

But I'm brazilian too, and I know she won't EVER comeback, and she won't make any effort to """""""""fix"""""""" this ~soon~ or not. Every artist """LOVES""" Brazil, but they don't do nothing to make us feel just a little special. I'm sad because my fan dream is probably over.

The shows here only happen in Rio and Sao Paulo. It is like anyone perform only at LA and Las Vegas and pretends the rest of US does not exist.
