The comments on yt were all positive, so that was good, but I think as more of an avid fan, I was hoping for something with a bit more of depth in story, maybe a few lines spoken from Lana, I'm not sure. Lots of scenes, lovely visuals and she looks gorgeous. The guy reminded me of a long-haired Chris Martin! It's just a pity it was for the worst song on the album and the choppy song change at the end with scenes that didn't match. I had no idea it was originally for Best American Record, and this is just the first time I've heard it - how on earth did this great song not make it? I assume it's about Barrie James O'Neill? I always assumed White Mustang was about him, so it makes sense that this was the other song she wrote about him. I just researched him and indeed, he left his band in 2014 to move to LA to be with her and released his debut last year and this was obviously just after they had split in 2015. Maybe she felt the song was just a bit too personal. So many songs on this album deserve a video. I hope she does one of the political ones, it would be so timely. And she has to do one for Cherry.
