its honestly one of her best songs period. i imagine the video begins with a slo-mo close up of jewels from her bra dancing as the camera zooms out and she's pole dancing

diamond heart is a must in the top 3 (or 5) of Joanne! I love it so much, I remember when the track list for Joanne came out, I knew 'diamond heart' was gonna be a good song. Such an intreguing title.

Diamond Heart is the only song off the Joanne album that I listen to or won't skip if it comes on.

I gotta be honest though.. I wasn't too thrilled with it live at the JWT. I wanted it to be the opening song before the tour started and knew it probably would be but was hoping it would be a little more electrifying. It was kind of underwhelming. Don't kill me

I have a fan made (I suspect) acoustice version and it gives me life just as much as the album version. It is such a single worthy song. So was A-Yo and DIC (one of those needed to be the lead).

I know exactly what you mean, as I also expected it to be the opening song of the JWT. On one hand I wanted it to be, because it's a great song obviously but then again, I remember at the ArtRave when ARTPOP was the opening song. I loved the song but since everyone around me kept screaming I couldn't hear Gaga properly until she sang the final chorus :toofunny:

It sucks that we keep getting less singles each era. Diamond Heart would have been a perfect lead or final single, especially if it had a great video to go along with it. I could imagine something like the MTN music video working really well.

I've never listened to diamond heart and not screamed the lyric "good thing I know what I'm worth, want a good thing? put the money down first" :selena:

She wrote it after her engagement ring from Taylor :toofunny:

The song is about knowing her true worth!

I don't get why it wasn't the lead single. I love Perfect Illusion so much, but Diamond Heart, I think would've been better. Such an amazing song. Can't believe people call it filler lmao.

Love this song. I remember being SO nervous about listening to Joanne for the first time and afraid I wasn't going to like it, and then bam, I'm hit with Diamond Heart.  One of the best surprises in my music listening experience.

Also, those simple opening chords with her softly singing "Young wild American..." (before she and the song completely obliterates us) is one of the best openings of any Gaga song ever.
