PMKKARDASHiAN 8,570
So I'm at work and I'm just kinda thinking how things would be different if Gaga weren't a force in my early 20s. She really shaped the way I acted and conducted myself when I was younger, and I was just wondering how I would be had she never come along. For starters, id have a lot more money because I wouldn't have bought every pair of designer sunglasses I came into contact with. I also probably wouldn't have the crass sense of humor I tried to model like hers from her early interviews i wouldn't be as confident in myself. I'm a weirdo at heart and always repelled it and tried to hide it. But Gaga showed me that it was ok to be fuccing WEIRD and embrace it and celebrate it and love yourself despite it! Also, Gaga helped me become more comfortable in my sexuality. Like my weirdness, I always tried to mask my sexuality, never wanted anyone to know I was gay and rebelled against gay social norms. But now I've fully embraced it and it's something I'm no longer ashamed of. Im sure there's a lot more if I had time to think about it. So I was just wondering what she's done for y'all
JoanneMonster 9,028
I wouldn't have anything to look forward in my life if it wasn't for the JWT, when my date is over in two weeks, nothing exciting will be taking place in my life +I wouldn't be as open minded as I am +I wouldn't be as tolerant as I am I See You

911 16,707
She showed me what tolerance and kindness mean and that everyone is perfect just the way he is. 𝕞𝕪 𝕓𝕚𝕘𝕘𝕖𝕤𝕥 𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕞𝕪 𝕚𝕤 𝕞𝕖, 𝕡𝕠𝕡 𝕒

Letmelivemylife 8,715
It would be drastically different. She taught me to never ever sacrifice who I am to please someone else and to never ever settle for second best. Without gaga there wouldn't be Little Monsters and I don't want to EVER be without my monster family. She taught me that DNA isn't what makes you family and that sometimes the people you don't share DNA with are the ones that love you the most (monsters are my family). I know it sounds corny but she truly did save me from myself. She became the "mama" I spent my who life searching for I love you monsters. I'd be unfixably broken without you
PoisonCandy 7
In some ways, yes. She definitely played a part in helping me accept myself when I was a teenager. I won't go too deep into it, but Born This Way was a very comforting, therapeutic album for me. It still is.
MonSwiftAnton 3,747
Yes, it's very likely it would be different.
Clip 5,100
Yup. As some people said here: -I would not have been as open minded, specially about sexuality -I wouldn't have learned as much English, because I learned a lot of vocabulary (specially about fashion and the music industry) from reading articles and going onto GGD. -I wouldn't have known as many designers or fashion photographers and just artists in general (like Koons or Marina Abramovic) -I started watching RDR because someone here recommended it, so some of my tastes would be different. -And of course, I wouldn't have posters on my room and Gaga merch

GhettoFabulous 18,501
Would my life be different without Gaga? It would’ve ended a few years back
harrysjoanne 8
My life would have been completely different without her. She's influenced so many of my choices such as coming out, telling someone about my feelings, escaping a toxic relationship. She's made me confident and proud of myself and was there for me with her music and experiences when no one else was. Sounds silly but she really did save my life and keeps doing it every day.
