SomethingMore 1,701
Her comment that the song may or may not be on the next record is probably because the song is very recent. Decisions like those aren't taken lightly. And if she really hasn't played it for anyone else, discussions with the label haven't even occured yet. --[V Magazine Interview (November 2011)]: "Gaga went to the piano to play us a new song she was working on about Princess Diana--a song about fame and celebrity death. Even in its rough stages, it has her trademark catchy chorus, and she sang the sad slightly bitter lyrics in full voice." So Gaga already played the song to someone, why did she say she didn't? Gaga tweeted recently that she played the tracks for the label so she probably played Princess Die also, cause she had it for 6 months or more. Harry 26,836
No, didn't you hear? He's the Creative Director for the album, he has a say in these things. meow well, BTW was for us, wasn't it? just saying. i'd honestly rather never have heard LOTR or PD if it means we will never get proper versions of them. she plays with our expectations and then disappoints us pretty much every single time (how many broken promises have their been? lol) maybe attacking was a tad much, but everyone with their snarky little .gifs i hate those people who tell people they can't have a differing opinion (like, you can't say something mean about gaga!) anyway. Do you really believe that? Lmao. But at the end of the day it's still HER album. The album is credited to Lady Gaga - not us. I know a lot of her fans want her to **** out a load of generic dance music that we get from the other girls, but we all know she isn't going to do that. Also a lot of fans want her to make a full length jazz record, or a full length rock record. And a lot of fans didn't want LOTR on the album, so... No one is telling you that you can't have a differing opinion, people are just differing with your opinion, and the way you act like Gaga should do this and Gaga should do that. She doesn't have to owe us **** if she doesn't want to. "How many broken promises have their been?" How many of those things were promised though? And if you did a tally of kept "promises" up against "broken" promises I'm sure we all know which would have more. If you find she disappoints you "every single time" then maybe you need to stop being so expectant.

BadHeavyMetalQueen 142
I want at least one song with just her voice + piano. Just one. But it all depends on the "sound" of the album and if it fits I guess. But, that being said, I don't want this to be her first single, if it's still a ballad. First single back needs to be a Bad Romance or Judas-like sound. Yeah, I agree with you.

Maybe she hasn't played this newer version of the song for anyone? Surely it's changed a lot since she did the magazine interview.
Klou 2,414
Ugh... People are already setting expectations wanting it to be a ballad and nothing else. Don't get all pissy when it's not!
MDD 0
This is so ****ing perfect. I could sit and cry over how god damn perfect and beautiful this song is. I was worried about the new stuff, but if this is any indication of what is to come we are in for a real treat monsters!

Im pretty sure it's the song she played to VF last year. She's saying that to sound coy and keep us guessing. She said U&I wouldn't be a single, so she could perform it at TMB, but it was. Kermit the frog 1,921
Now these are the good lyrics! Holy ****, I'm impressed. This is very good. If she said that it PROBABLY won't be on the new album, then it means we're not getting this. She also said it wouldn't match the theme, which basically means that the new album is very positive and light :) Her piano ballads are always heavily Queen inspired, I love it :)
hvymtllvr 1
I can't believe she did it because someone threw up a tiara :( I threw up a bunch of white roses on saturday night (I'm assuming this is the song she's been hinting at with white roses) hoping she would do this! Quran 179
Her best lyrics to date, imo. :worship:
Kalameet 4
I love it. This HAS to be on the album, even if its never a single. But these lyrics alone make it worth it. But if not at least a studio version needs to leak Edited June 27, 2012 by Lightning

Kermit the frog 1,921
Some people talking like she owes them anything... She'll put it on the album if she ****ing wants to or not, you can suck lemons. Lmao, IKR? They should be thankful that she decided to sing an unreleased song.
