I was raised in a way that quelled any abnormality to suit my family's wishes. We went through hell and back and so my dad wanted no further aggravation, meaning my gender was never allowed to be a discussion. I would've been hurt back then for seriously mentioning it.

 i still think supporting hormones treatment and overall transition for kids at that young age who haven't even hit puberty properly were majority of the mental growth happens is bullshit
