It must be awful to not live next to a big city and have to travel hours and spend hundreds of dollars just to attend a concert. I cannot imagine.... :ohno:

It's an unfortunate situation, but there's is no reason to blame Gaga. This is not something you can put on her - some fans don't seem to get that. She's sick, not cancelling just to go shopping, or something silly like that.

LMAO, no you are NOT.

She is ill, that is inevitable thing. You can't blame someone for being sick unless you are a very self centered person

It's unfortunate event but it is not her fault and people like you should learn to understand.

Plus, cos it is postponed, it means everyone who suppose to attend the show this evening will able to attend the reschedule date if any. Or get some refund. Not all is lost tbh.

Eh. For example my friend from NY flew to LA just to see the Gaga show with me here. If our show got postponed that would have really sucked and she would have flown here for nothing (obviously it was great to see her but still). @Admin went to NY to see Gaga at Citi Field (I'm not making that up...right?).

It's not Gaga's fault and of course she only cancelled it because she had to—it just does really suck for people that spent money traveling to and getting a place to stay during the show. It's not just a ticket in a lot of cases, and a new ticket that people might not be able to make it to still sucks.

I don't think the people who got postponed should attack their hate at Gaga but if they're venting—let them, I'd be pissed too.

Used to be on here as broadwaybobby in TFM era

Yup. Being pissed at one thing. But OP clearly think it is OK to direct the anger to Gaga for the postponement. That is what I don't agree with.

Of course you have a right to be upset and disappointed. But you have no right to be mad at Gaga.

People make the choice to travel and spend money on hotels and flights. When you make these choices, you are accepting the possibility that things may go wrong. The situation sucks, but Gaga can't just make an illness disappear because you travelled far to see there. I've paid thousands to see her in America, and I'm praying to god that something like this doesn't happen. But guess what - it could happen. And as much as it is my worst nightmare, I would never be angry at Gaga for being human.

I am very sorry to everyone who was disappointed tonight. I have been in this position and I know how terrible it is. I sincerely hope you get your show rescheduled. You have the right to feel however you feel, no one has the right to tell you your feelings are 'wrong' or to feel a certain way.

I am not sure why people camped out for this show. The tour is a month in, surely they would have seen by now that you can show up a few hours before and get a great spot (unless they were going for front row). Tragic that those days were wasted, hopefully someone will tell them for the rescheduled show that it's completely unnecessary.

I feel like you have to prepare for these sort of things, always. You're watching human beings perform, with human being problems and human being concerns. It isn't Disneyland or Las Vegas. Lady Gaga has every right to put herself first. You cant be surprised and mad.

Go make the most of your night. I went to Vegas partially for this very reason. I figured if Gaga got hurt or sick, I'd go spend my alcohol money on a show or at a casino with my fiancé.

Best wishes honey

So you really expect Gaga (of all performers) to cancel a show halfway because of some rain, and let a whole other group of fans down, just so she would be fit to perform at the show you would be attending? and still will be attending, just at a later date??

fans of her take pride in the fact that gaga is a good performer, she gives 100% etc, but they are pissed she didn't cancel a show because of rain. meanwhile if another singer canceled a show because of the weather there would be 10-12 threads here on ggd dragging them :classy:

Spoiler

I came thinking this was a Solange thread :selena:

I know exactly how you feel (was gonna attend Adele's final Wembley show, but she lost her voice :toofunny:), but her illness isn't really her fault. And at least you know that she's rescheduling. You do have the right to be frustrated, but it was beyond her control (to people saying that she could've cancelled NY because of the rain, that would've just caused more problems regarding why the show was cancelled and would have more people complaining)

it's still better than if she had lip synced isn't it? She probably feels already bad enough to be mad at her but I can 100% understand you

It is  she sang in the rain knowing well she is risking her health.

But then the New York fans would have been mad, so you can't win :bye:
