Yeah, I don't mean she is scared of us as in scared for her physical integrity but she is definitely scared of us in a psychological way. It's no surprise that she doesn't visit this site anymore; the amount of negativity and down-right bizarre behavior of some members on here can definitely be off-putting and uncomfortable. There are also some very vocal "fans" who don't necessarily get her message and beliefs and I can definitely imagine she'd want to avoid that. At the same time, there are very obvious times in history where fans who meet her or see her cross the line. There were rumors back to 2011 that some fans stalked her, disturbed her, etc. and a part of me thinks it was because Gaga was too vulnerable with fans. There were so many occasions where she would have this deer in the headlights kind of look when walking outside of venues, etc. because of the swarms of people treating her like a zoo animal. There were so many rumors of people breaking into her apartment to get a picture of her sleeping, get a piece of her clothes, etc. It was pretty scary to think about. Once she kind of made light of it on the WWHL show with Andy, I think it kind of confirmed some of those rumors. There are fans in the NYC circle that are legitimately borderline stalkers, to the point where I'm not surprised she moved across the country to kind of distance herself for the sake of mental health. Modern Ecstasy2 2,202 Posted September 4, 2017 Share Posted September 4, 2017 Back when she was living in Chicago there were some fans (not name-dropping in case they are here ), who were crazy obsessed with her in a way that was leaving fan territory and entering stalker mode and really violating personal space and boundaries. I followed them on twitter and they would go around the city looking for her and apparently found where her and Tay lived and they believed they were friends with Gaga. It was super weird and unsettling. I think the negativity she refers to comes essentially from Twitter, and social media in general. People are true savages there. If someone comes running at you screaming, crying, hysterical, in your face and grabbing at you it'd be scary. Famous people have been killed by obsessed fans (God forbid) Some are mentally ill and living in a fantasy thinking they're married/dating/friends or things like that. People might feel like they know her but she doesn't know them and doesn't know their intentions, even though most are just excited fans who love her and would never hurt her, there is no way for her to tell the difference by looking at you and that would be terrifying. People really should chill around her. I'm sure she'd be much more interactive if everyone would settle down and treat her like a human being. OT: Gaga doesn't like it when she's not treated like a human being. Some "fans" have 0 respect for her and see her as a robot, that she doesn't have feelings and that she's never scared. Some "fans" just love her for her image.
