Wtf saying fans betray you because they don't like your work they said she was aware that people wanted her to make a great pop record but she did her own thing hunny u can't expect ur fans to love everything what you put out and saying they betrayed you because of that is really yeah... Garbage 

Yeah we want too much and she cant satisfy everyone but then again she should know that especially when putting out something you know your fans didn't ask for so I say 50/50 are ****ed up

I don't think Gaga would paint the entire fanbase with a broad stroke like that. There very clearly are fans who care very much about the well-being and human side of Gaga. Just this forum alone...there are so many! I can't imagine that love and admiration going unnoticed or being slighted. The real fans...the ones who truly care about the woman behind the popstar (Stefani!)...are the ones she is constantly raving about. I don't think her feelings for them have changed. 

The temporary fans (those wanting to ride the wave of fame) who ditched her after Joanne sensing an ostensible "decline" in her stardom...now I can imagine her feeling upset and betrayed by that. But the entire fanbase...no.

It's kinda obvious but not confirmed so far (probs never will be), but I'm 99% sure Gaga i disappointed by her fans. We kinda failed her when everybody else did (the ARTPOP era and whatnot).

And I think it's a good thing. We're toxic af

Deep down I think she'll always love her monsters but now it's like "I need room to breathe". At the beginning, a lot of us were lost and broken and so she became a "mama" figure of sorts and loved/doted on us as if we were her own. Like any good "mama" we were the center of her world. I feel like it's to the point now where it's like "I love you so very much monsters and I'll always be here for you but it's time to cut the cord and learn to stand on your own 2 feet".

What's boring and gross is how a singer complains about her fans, who made her who she is, for having a negative opinion about the quality of her latest works, instead of actually trying to improve.

Its about the bandwagoners and the fame, it was all a perfect illusion, she's still hurt after losing so many "fans" and fame after the huge TF/M eras, the ARTPOP backlash got her, in fact she stated to get affected by it when MTN underperformed and she started doing drugs on tour.

It REALLY hurts, believe me :'/ but deep down she is still grateful for the fans that are still here supporting her on a more stripped down era, she needed Joanne to heal and feel appreciated for who she is not the "Perfect Illusion" she created back in 2008-2011..

Anyways.. this topic makes me sad bc im going thru something like that on a  much smaller scale and i'm really depressed rn, i cant even listen Perfect illusion or Million Reasons without crying, i admire her for keep it going, i would have quitted or killed myself.. she is really strong, srry for my bad english.

I think you're on the right track, but I also always felt that Perfect Illusion was more about Troy (her management) etc. during the ARTPOP era.... "where are you cause I can't see, but I feel you watching me".. Gaga said that even though Troy was still her manager he wasn't around when she broke her hip.. 

What I want to know is, where is Gaga first coming from when she's driving in the car when the PI MV starts? What does the PI MV continue on from??? where is she driving from??? (cause if the Joanne music videos connect, what comes before PI)
