Both the video and the song are awesome, but flopped because Britney didn't even promote it. Rest in peace Slumber party, you will be remembered(at least by me). The GP still has some interest in Britney, but they expect bops they can dance to at parties and good MVs from her. Make Me's MV killed the era flat. The song just started to gain airplay and it's sales were steady, there was even hype for the(original) video and than they released the worse video of the year. Not to mention that she started promoting a month and a half after the song's release. By late august(when she started the promo for the era), the song, the hype and everything was dead. And the sad thing is, that there was still a chance for the era to be saved if she released the second single at the VMA's and performed it, but no, the second single came in November, 4 months after the first single and 3 months after the album release...........
