It's not about the chart specifically, it's about dominating the world. Dominating the charts, dominating the music industry, dominating pop world. Domination. It is very fierce. I thought she only dominates US sales and gets Grammys that the Academy loses cred over? and doesn't only a very small group of people care about BB#1s? idk she's the stuck-up kind of ambitious. kind of introverted, really. I don't think many people outside the drama&receipts community will ever find her fierce. I figured most people see a psychotic ex-cheerleader in dire need of getting laid but could appreciate Blank Space for being a nice Shania/early 2000s thin pads commercial song throwback. Oh yes yes, don't get me wrong, I was the one who actually opened a thread questioning Taylor Swift's "power". She might be breaking records, but really she is still no one worldwide. Just a very successful American artist, who barely no one will look it up for curiosity. That said, I agree with you. Yes, outside the pop forums, and the USA/American public, she's barely a celebrity. However, I still stand up for my words. She tries, she really tries. She has the will to try to take over pop industry, and I can't deny that that same drive was something that really impressed me in Gaga's early years (yes, Gaga still did it better, and that is why Gaga will still be talked for years to come, even if never has a hit again). Either way, pop forums are always too rude about these things. Like it or not, deserved it or not, she is getting a lot of success and people who don't like it take it too personally (the same people who were angry about BB Hot 100 top 10 having no female musicians for the first time in years).
