The last female #1 was Adele with "Hello" (solo) and "Closer" ft Halsey. Yeah, there has bern a few successful females this year, but none have came close to the top spot. Cardi B and RihRih got their songs blocked by "Despacito", meanwhile Taylor will force herself to the top spot.

You know she's big when people think it's cool to hate her like they did with Gaga back in the day    Anyway her new songs are great, I think a lot of people on here give her a hard time because most people here are into alternative pop stars like Lana, Lorde etc and obviously their music is much more deep lyrical so in comparison Taylor seems basic. But she makes a different kind of pop for the masses not just the hardcore pop music crowd, so think of this as a replacement for the chainsmokers and all that kind of really mainstream stuff, I would definitely rather have the new Taylor over them.
