Anderson123 38,299 Posted September 2, 2017 Share Posted September 2, 2017 Pop Vocal Album: Starboy, Melodrama, 24k Magic, Divide and I kind of have the feeling either Joanne or Rainbow (Either one of these will take the last spot). As much as I love Gaga, I'd be very happy to see Melodrama get that Grammy. And to be honest, Divide isn't even that good. It had a super successful lead single but the rest of the album (except for Perfect) are just boring ballads but of course it's going to be nominated. After all, if you can't win a Grammy, the second best thing is being nominated for one, so if it's treated as pop, she's actually got a higher chance of adding another nomination under her belt whatever happens. AP being nominated for nothing still stings. With country music being in the pits right now with Body Like A Back Road being the only major hit of recent times, you can bet that the country side will only want to nominate and glorify 100% country artists.
