She's never been marketed to be massive though. Do you expect a Kate Bush meets Susanne Sundfor meets Robyn sounding album to be massive when the trend is Justin Bieber

but people act like she was lol

i just asked my friend what she thinks of lorde actually i asked like a few

and they said who is that

compared to Lady Gagas first album, Beyonce, Rihanna?  I dont think so

:awkney: they're all people who want to be in the limelight and made trending music at the time for commercial success and fame, Lorde has never been in it for the fame or number 1s

plus Lorde has a sky rocketing critical acclaim for only her second album that beats all those women's albums minus Lemonade

If Melodrama is a flop era then whatever eras Fifth Harmony, Justin Bieber, The Chainsmokers, etc. have been serving are LAUGHABLE. :sharon::sharon::sharon:

Also, if this is her flop era then we are in for the album of the DECADE with her next one. That is all.

it's the era when she had probably spent too much time with her producer's gf and started having kool aid moments sabotaging the greatness of her music

Lordes álbum was a 10 out of 10. Not a flop in any way. Royals was huge, team was big. But lordes never been a "pop star" in that sense in my eyes. She makes good sh*t that the radio listeners can't digest cause its not 100% mindless and accessible lmao

Wait, has she ever had a successful era? :oprah:

Yes, Pure Heroine destroys commercially anything Gaga has done since 2011.

No tea, no shade, but the only success that Lorde has ever had was Royals.

Teams was a x3 Platinum top5 hit and  Pure Heroine sold great.
