SOTY is a huge possibility but Praying is slowly growing on radio, climbing the charts and it's acclaimed, everyone whos heard it loves it just like MR. Th Grammys love a rising phoenix story. MR was released too early in the eligibility period. Unfortunately the charts and Grammy's are borderline sexist, so it's either Praying or MR for the only female slot for SOTY.

MR for Pop solo and Joanne for Pop album are pretty much on lock at this point. The bitch did the SB watched by 117 million people in the US a lot of them are Grammy voters and she's won them over, idk y ya'll are doubting her chances of getting those nods. 

I feel like Kesha is going to grab one or two nods, she's a dark horse and the Grammys love a dark horse. Lorde will get nods for Melodrama but that's it, her singles are pretty much unknown to the casual voters. 

The only female nom for the AOTY will likely be Lorde. But the album's not popular at all, and a lot of people forgot about it's existence already so idk. If not Lorde then it's either Gaga or Kesha. No one deserves the slot more than these three ladies. I hope the Grammys surprise us and nominate more than one lady.

smh at ya'll doubting MR's capability tho like, everyone loves that song, it's a powerballad and the Grammys cup of tea.

But winning an award? Very very very unlikely. I don't want to blatantly say NO, cuz u never know. But if she does end up winning, it's going to be something for MR.

I think Kesha's Praying will replace Million Reasons in the SOTH category, they are quite similar so I think the voters will go with Kesha.

lmaoooooo no lol those are like songs from ex band members who are irrelevant when it comes to awards. those are the same people who struggle to get a teen choice award not going to happen. it was clearly written by a 13 year old. and no Katy has ZERO chances this year, the Grammy's don't even like the girl, they never have that's y she never won anything. I think she'll be lucky to have at least 2, Pop Vocal Album for Joanne and Pop Vocal Performance for Million Reasons. I wont get my hopes up because the Grammys usually nominate popular songs for the big categories so lets see.

yes for an album that sold 4 million copies WW and had two singles that sold 10 million and 13 million copies WW. ofc she was going to be nominated  Roar and Dark Horse were the best selling singles of the year, and STILL she didn't win. 

ARTPOP on the other hand was a mess. She faced major backlash, had one hit, everyone was calling her a flop. The snub didn't come as a shock to anyone. 

Katy has flopped hard since. no critical praise OR sales, which used to be her saving grace. Gaga on the other hand has THRIVED, been nominated for an Oscar, a few Grammys and even won one. 

Don't get me wrong I ain't hating on Katy. but the only way she would've got a nomination was if she'd sold million of records, but she didn't. No sales =/= no grammy
