Before you call this a reach, please note both videos were directed by Joseph Kahn! I'm shook. I doubt Taylor had any idea, but still... The director is definitely recycling his work with Kylie! (no shade, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery)

...but it goes both ways as Kylie is currently working with Taylor's producer in Nashville!

It looks increasingly likely that Kylie Minogue’s 14th LP will have a splash of country. The hard-working diva is back in the studio today — cooking up hits with Nathan Chapman, a Grammy Award-winning producer who has worked on all of Taylor Swift’s albums.

as much as I love the video she is one shady salty girl.

I'm sure she didn't mean that Bathtub with the jewels singing about a perfect crime while doing gun gestures scene as a dig at Kim K :poot: But Joseph Khan knew exactly what he was doing when he edited that video, they'd be lying if they said that it didn't remind them of the Paris robbery in some form.  :trollga: It must not have been their intention per se but they definitely knew what they were doing

YeehawKylie

Most pop girls lift at least one or two things from Kylie. That being said, everything is inspired by something at this point in the world. Unless someone legitimately plagiarizes choreography (a la Beyonce with Countdown) I don't think it's really serious.

I mean, if that is the case then the video was just Taylor Swift channeling everyone (from MJ to Beyonce to Gaga). Besides, you can't find something purely original these days. It is so hard to do something iconic in a music video.

I love it! Joseph really does like to re-use pieces of his work again and again. Multiple scenes reminded me of his work with other pop girls, so naturally they had to homage miss Minogue :diane:

It's not a major thing to copy anyway. it's something that has been done many times. Even in films such as World War Z. I think it's such a minute detail.

She was also channeling Madonna, Beyoncé & Gaga.

Yeah...that part is about a reporter calling Taylor a bitch for having too many men and jumping from man to man and when everything was over she went to her luxurious house and have a shower of pearl in her ivory tub or some shït like that :ladyhaha: but if she was mocking the rob I'd be fücking living for that and praising that bïtch like every one of her fans and most of the media world it's doing right now, and nothing it's gonna take that away from her. But as I say it's about the reporter :trollga:

What if tomorrow I see you again? Should I say that I used to love you?
