No I didn't, I almost asked the opposite -- she's not successful at all (I mean, compared to people who normally get to perform at the VMAs) yet she still gets all those major promo spots, so yeah she must be sleeping with someone in the industry. I mean, even Kesha, who has the #1 album in the country right now, got reduced to presenting an award. That's real in some way. Kesha, someone who I've not liked until now, deserved a spot this year. Many of the songs on her album could have been powerful and entertaining messages, and this was her moment to step back into a spotlight, yet...we got Scars To Your Beautiful, which is a great song but nothing special as a video and months and months old now...
