In Taylor's perspective, event though they're friends of course it would be awkward and uncomfortable to see your ex fiancee who you had a relationship for 5 years scream "IT WASN'T LOVE IT WAS A PERFECT ILLUSION". Any reaction he made could seem strange. But if he went backstage after the show then things must be okay, or even juicier.... Now I was thinking what his reaction to Million Reasons was. Thats definitely a more emotional and sensible song that reaches more intimate things. That could have been more uncomfortable.
