Or is your only chance to buy them when they came out and when they are gone they are gone for good? Or can you still purchase them at the event?

Not really, I checked for some European Shows :emma: (the ones I remember were for Cologne and Berlin)

they have sold out months ago and aren't onsale anymore neither on eventim nor ticketmaster

Really? I checked one month ago in Ticketmaster and there were still some available, I got the reservation, I gave my information and only needed to pay (I didn't buy it tho :v) EDIT: I just did it again for the Cologne show and I got a reservation

And even if there is some available still, purchasing them at the event is probably not possible because they need your personal info beforehand for security reasons.
