First of all, I don't understand how this fanbase doesn't know that The Cure was a track intended for ASIB but didn't make the cut. It probably killed her so she released it as a buzz single to keep her on the radio going into the tour.

Literally this. I thought it was fact by now. Mindtrappa said a few weeks ago that the ASIB soundtrack is literally full to the brim of “The Cure-esque” songs mixed with a few power ballads. 

He said that although the songs don’t explicitly sound like The Cure, you can definitely tell they were made during the same sessions just by going off the overall vibe/genres
